SUNDAY THOUGHTS

This past weekend I went on pioneer Trek.

To say it was the greatest time would be a lie. The fact that I was going to be one of the oldest girls on Trek made me not so thrilled about the whole thing. Turns out it was super humbling and i'm glad it's something I did. I'm about to get all deep & spiritual here and express my gratitude through this blog.

So here it is.. Traveling to Martin's Cove made everything about the whole pioneer journey more real. After reading stories about the brave things the pioneers did, it was cool to actually be there and see things through my own eyes. Trek gave me a good perspective on life in general. The things we have to face today are very different than what the pioneers went through.  I realized a few things worth sharing. Life is truly what we make it. Whether to be happy or miserable is our own choice. It's a choice we have to make every single day, and for me it is a hard one most of the time. Having a positive attitude about the little things really can change the course of your life. I want to be seen as a happy person and never want to be seen as the girl sitting out and not helping. So this is my goal.

I loved that every where I looked on Trek I saw people serving others. Having an autistic boy named Chester in my trek family, who sang frozen songs and laughed to himself every chance he got, brought my spirits up. He made me realize and know we are all are designed in our own way in our own time for a reason. Once we know who we are and where we came from the choices we make and the perspective we have will be more clear. I know we have a loving Heavenly Father who will help us every step of the way. Like the pioneers, I want to live a life of faith not fear.

Twas a happy trekking experience !

SENIOR TRIP

Lake Powell could very well be one of the greatest places.
The Fenton's house boat could very well be the greatest house boat.
Senior trip was the greatest!!

So many hunks and beauties I call my friends.

**insert Gabby Barton here

I will miss this missionary very much. Since 2nd grade crushes until now, I have always had a lot of love for Alex Butterfield.

Especially missing miss Madeline while she's away in Europe.

Jeffery & Madeline

HOTTIES!!

Jake Shapiro getting his nails painted and loving it.
Yoga and Spa night or "one of the best nights of their lives?"

 Love them all.

next stop!!

NEWPORT

California will always be one of my favorite places, however, I never get to hang out in

Newport, so it was fun seeing some different places, like Balboa Island, the lovely San

Clemente, and LA.

Notice the ankle bracelet. Lexi is a champ at making those things and was thrilled to make us each one.

It's really hard being away from my family in the summer. I wish I could play with these little guys

everyday by the pool. I miss their spirits and some times out of control behavior!

Last but not least, the highlight of our trip.
Parent get us tickets to Ed Sheeran concert. Walk into concert. guy offers us Katy Perry tickets. we pay $20 for each. super good two-hundred dollar seats. so stoked.
"Wait, look there's Gavin Degraw!"

A GRADUATION WEEK

No words to describe dancing on stage with these beautiful girls for the last time.
It was one of those times in life when I wanted to freeze time and live in the moment, take it all in, and remember the love I have for dance. I'm happy to know that it won't be the end to my dancing days, but the end to a sisterhood and the high school days.

Each of these girls taught me lots and pushed me to become a better dancer and person this year.
They are just so great and so talented!

Grandma came to watch me dance. I just adore her!

Any boy who has sat through countless of dance performances is a champ.

Parky is such a sweet brother!

I wil always love and remember my TDP family.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION

I did it! You never think that day will come, but it comes!! Way sooner than you think.

High school has had it's ups and downs, yet I can look back and say it was three years of unforgettable

 memories and lessons.

I couldn't think of better people to have been surrounded by.

People that I needed. These are some of my people.

I'm grateful for the role models in my life; for the wisdom of those older than me.
I'm so hopeful for where my future takes me and I love that these decisions are mine. I get to decide where I want to spend my time, what I want to spend it doing, and who I am going to experience it with. I LOVE that. That can also be a scary thing, but I know I will never be alone making these important decision, that will very much impact the rest of my life.
I get to do everything i've ever desired to do.

If you're reading this you very much could be one of those people who helped me one way or another.
Thank you thank you.
