I can do hard things.

We walked from the Draper temple to the Salt Lake temple with hopes we would grow a respect for our ancestors and those before us that did hard things. Might I add, this was TWENTY-TWO miles. Along the way we not only felt the sting of pain for the ones that sacrificed so much because of their faith, we learned a lesson of life. Along our journey here on earth we are given challenges, such as temptation and hard things to go through to make us strong. Enduring and sacrifice is what we must do to ultimately get to our goal. Our goal today was the temple, which is also my goal in this life. The temple, which leads to covenants and eternal blessings. Not so happy McKell-- on the last mile was not thinking about anything, but her feet. When I saw the temple I felt a peace. I many times forget in my own life my ultimate goal by getting distracted by other things.
LESSONS LEARNED.

This will be something I will remember forever, especially in times when I think something is too hard. We truly all can do hard things with the help of the Lord, who gives us strength. The temples importance became even more important to me.

"This world consists of two sorts of people, those who are acted upon and those who act."
